One of our visitors’ most popular activity is getting ice cream after a hot day the beach. In fact, it’s just as popular on warm days and cold days too.

Pecan Jacks (Gulf Place)
Voted #1 by the vast majority of travelers and full-time residents, Pecan Jacks offers small batch artisan ice cream, pralines, brittles, chocolates, and candies on the north side of 30A across from Ed Walline Beach.
Other amenities close by include Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar (one of my favorite restaurants in the area) and Growler Garage, which sells an excellent selection of craft beers and provides outdoor seating.

Blue Mountain Creamery (Blue Mountain Beach)
Every time I drive by Blue Mountain Creamery, I see a line of people wrapping down the street. Although Blue Mountain Beach is my least favorite public beach access along 30A (mostly because the houses lining the beach are the least attractive of anywhere in the area), Blue Mountain Creamery is still a happening place. It’s directly across the street from Red Fish Taco, a restaurant you should try while in town.
Serving ice cream, frozen yogurt sorbets, and waffle cones.

Kilwins (Rosemary Beach)
For a more upscale outing, check out Kilwins near Rosemary Beach. Open since mid-year 2021, Kilwins offers artisan chocolates, fudge, ice cream, caramel corn, and brittles. Stop by for a free sample of their tasty treats.

It’s Heavenly (Seaside)
