A quick ten minute drive north from western 30A is the popular growing community known as North Beach. Nestled along the Choctawhatchee Bay, North Beach features several popular restaurants, outdoor beach activities, fishing, live music, and weekly bonfires.
New homes and luxury apartments are under construction even now as the community expands to meet demands for growth.
This section of the Bay near Hwy 331 bridge is still calm with low boat traffic most of the time. New Years and Fourth of July have become popular holidays to spend on North Beach, with fireworks launched from a pier near the shore.
