For the past several years, Seaside has instituted a curfew for unaccompanied minors to cut down on mischievous acts and minor crimes taking place during summers and Spring Break.
For 2026, Seaside has announced a Spring Break Curfew for March 1st through April 19th, 2026 to ensure a safe and family friendly environment.
During this period, a 7pm CST curfew will be in effect for unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 who are without parental supervision.
The official announcement details many of the family friendly events hosted in Seaside proper and reiterates that this famously popular Seaside community exists for families to relax and enjoy in a safe environment.
This messaging is intended to communicate to out-of-towners that Seaside and 30a in general is not an ideal place to plan Spring Break parties where dozens of teens are gifted a rental house by an adult and allowed to roam unsupervised.
